It’s so hot here in Latvia today — +29°C (84°F for my USA friends). I don’t think I’m built for this kind of heat! 🥵
On the bright side, it’s the perfect weather for everyone who needs to cut the grass and make hay. ☀️
This evening, the temperature finally dropped to +20°C (68°F), and after such a hot day it actually felt a little chilly. What a relief!
Another little joy: my sweet peas have started to bloom. 🌸 I absolutely love their fragrance! I picked a small bouquet and brought it inside, and now the whole room is filled with their wonderful scent. I definitely need to grow more next year.
While picking peas, I also spotted a stork. ❤️ I love how they seem to let me get just a little bit closer than most wild birds before flying away. Those little encounters always make my day.

Ilze – you know I am grinning! What wonderful summer photos BUT 29C is barely warm, surely! Hot is in the upper 30s and too hot when it gets into 40s 🙂 ! At 20C I put the heater on 🙂 ! Do love the photo of the stork . . . used to love seeing them . . .
