A Quiet Sunday Beneath the Apple Tree

I’m sorry for being a little quiet here lately.

I actually have plenty of stories waiting to be shared. Photos to sort through, little adventures to write about, recipes, nature walks, and moments from everyday life. The only thing I’m missing is time.

Life has been moving quickly, and by the end of the day, sitting down to write often feels impossible. I keep telling myself, “Tomorrow.” Then tomorrow comes with another long list of things that need doing.

But yesterday, I did something I haven’t done in a while.

I took my book outside, found a spot beneath the shade of our old apple tree, and spent about twenty peaceful minutes reading. Just me, coffe, snack, the gentle breeze, birds singing, and the leaves softly rustling overhead.

Twenty minutes doesn’t sound like much, but it felt like a small gift. A reminder that even in the busiest seasons of life, it’s worth making space to simply be for a little while.

The stories will come. I promise. I just need to catch my breath between living them and writing them down.

Thank you for sticking around. ❤️
