Prunus cerasifera: The First to Bloom

We had a burst of summer warmth these past few days, but now it’s back to the chill — just +11°C again. Yesterday, I noticed the Prunus cerasifera in bloom — the first tree to flower on our land each spring. It always arrives too early, like a quiet whisper before the season truly begins.
And yet, there it was — soft, certain, and right on time.

This tree doesn’t wait for perfect weather. It simply blooms when it’s ready.

Maybe that’s a lesson I needed right now — to start where I am, even if I don’t feel fully prepared.
To trust the rhythm already stirring inside me.

    1. So true — if we wait for “perfect,” we might miss the most beautiful moments. Thank you for putting it into words so well. 🍃

    1. So true! Nature moves to her own rhythm — no rushing, no waiting for permission. A good reminder for all of us. 🌿
