What is a mini-rally? Well, it’s the name of an amateur rally here in Latvia. Why am I writing about this!? Jānis is participating in it! He is co-driver: reading off a set of pacenotes to the driver.
While he was 450 km away from home we (girls) had a PJ party! Girls are sad when Jānis isn’t home and also fight! As my mom says: There should be at one rooster in the henhouse! I agree!
So girls were happy, I made sweet condensed milk popcorn and cheese crackers and chocolate milk from real cocoa with honey and vanilla in it! We dressed in PJs and watched movies: The Princess and the Frog, Nemo and Frozen.
Jānis was home at 3am but girls were sound asleep by that time.. and me too!

Sounds like the perfect night to relax and recharge your batteries. You’ve been go, go, go for so long this summer, nice to hear you’re taking a little time to have fun with the girls and I know they love having their mama join in the fun.
