Our chilly nights have transformed into delightful escapades! The kids had an absolute blast jumping from the hot tub to pick fresh watermelon and then diving back in to warm up or rushing to the wet sauna. Their laughter filled the air under the starry sky as they relished this fun game, making the most of the evening.

Not only did they enjoy picking juicy slices of watermelon, but they also loved the sauna experience. The perfect balance of hot and cold was invigorating, and it warmed my heart to watch them create such joyful memories together.
These moments truly capture the essence of autumn—laughter, fun, and cherished family time, no matter how chilly it gets. It’s wonderful to see the kids embrace the simple pleasures in life, like jumping into the warmth of the hot tub.
Chilly Nights Turned into Unforgettable Adventures!

Thank you! I honestly thought they were terrible and considered redoing them, but everyone kept shouting, “Stop taking pictures, Mom!”

I can hear their laughter from here. What fun for all. One of the most important things they learn is like you said, enjoying the simple things in life. That will help them in life and in the environment you and your husband have built, it keeps the creativity alive.

I’d agree with you, but since it’s autumn break, they’ve been glued to their consoles and phones all day. I was so busy with work that I didn’t have time to suggest any screen-free activities. Tomorrow… tomorrow!

I hope they will. Also, they don’t have to 🙂 I’m making the memories for myself. They are growing up so fast!

They do grow up too fast, my son and daughter are in their 30s!

30s! Nice! How often do you meet them? I bet they aren’t living in Las Vegas 🙂

They have never been to Las Vegas, I don’t see them much but we chat with text and phone calls. Our family Christmas is next month for some good reasons like my sister dealing with our parent’s estate. It’s a very difficult thing to navigate… Both our parents are gone now. 😭

I’m so sorry to hear about your parents. 💔 It must be really tough for you and your sister to go through that, especially around the holidays. It’s good that you still stay connected with each other, even if it’s just through texts and calls. Hopefully, Christmas together will bring some comfort, even with everything going on. Sending you lots of strength. ❤️

Thank you so much, Ilze, you are a very kind person. 🙏🏻❤️ It’s almost like we are orphans but at our ages, we are fine of course. It just hurts when you are going through your day and think about your parents. No more phone calls, no more seeing them and all of us together again. There will be only six of us this Christmas, I will be flying to Michigan next month for this. 😭
