How did that happen? The week flew by, and I can’t believe it’s already Friday! Between being sick and feeling exhausted, I barely noticed the days slipping by. I’m still not 100%, but I’m hoping next week brings some much-needed rest and a fresh start!

On a brighter note, I upgraded to the latest iPhone. While I didn’t get the huge “wow” factor I expected, I have to admit the camera quality is fantastic! I’ll definitely be using it for quick shots and everyday moments when I’m not out with my bigger camera. The best part? My company bought it for me! I’m thankful for it.
Looking forward to testing out its camera for those spontaneous shots.

I heard the camera was a big improvement. I evn mentioned that would be a nice upgrade for me but my husband was unfazed. The camera is all I use the phone for except the occasional text. Glad your feeling better.

Yes, the camera is better, I got iPhone 13 Pro Max before, so this IS an upgrade 🙂 But the 13 Pro Max was good as well. Not seeing much improvement in other areas… Well, it heats up when charging.. 13 Pro Max enver did.

That doesn’t sound good. I have a 14 Pro so I won’t be getting a new for at least fo a year. This one suits me just fine for now. We always buy the phone instead of getting thru AT&T. I’ve been with for so long my monthly rate is cheaper tha they can offer now and if I buy a phone from them I have to sign a contract.

Going from the 13 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max doesn’t feel like a huge upgrade to me! The 13 Pro Max was still working perfectly for my needs. 🙂 So… No need to update yet 🙂

But if the employer pays an upgrade is nice!

Yes! We can request a new phone every 2 years and a new laptop every 3 years. The best part is that the old devices are yours to keep—you can do whatever you like with them!

WOW that’s great you get to keep devices that are still fairly new.

Good for kids school works, personal things, etc

No kidding! As long as you’re working there, you have a nice supply for the kids.

You can say that, but that’s not why I work. I can’t imagine working just for the ‘extras’—I think that would feel exhausting.

No we would never work for that, we need fullfillment in our work. The extra is just a perk.

I used to be a total Android girl… Then I got an iMac, followed by a MacBook Air… Then I ended up in a job that only uses Macs… and now, here I am, on my second iPhone! I’m still not sure if I really love it, but I can’t deny how seamlessly everything works together. And those AirPods… I have no idea how I managed without them! Noise cancelation against kids’ chaos? Absolute magic! 😄

Yay! I’m glad you got a sweet upgrade, Ilze. I’ve been using nothing but Apple products for years. I’m glad that you are getting better. 😊

Thank you, we are interesting family – kids on windows – since that is what they use in school, me on mac and husband is 100% Linux 🙂

Linux? I’ve heard of it for years but have never tried it since I don’t want to mess up my computer. I’d stop by with a great lunch for your family and meet you guys if I could, Ilze!

Android is Linux based, but I don’t want to start… sure come over for lunch (maybe first need to finish the house) 🙂

I didn’t know that, Ilze. I can work on the CSS of my blog, but that stuff is way beyond me! Okay!

CSS can be a tricky beast, but once you get the hang of it, it’s so satisfying to see those little tweaks come to life, right?
