Finally, a sunny and relatively warm day! After so many gray skies, it felt so nice to be outside, breathing in the fresh air and feeling the sun on my face.
I love snow—not just because of how beautiful it looks, but because it tells a story. With every step, I can see the tracks left behind by animals that have passed through. Tiny footprints of birds, the delicate marks of deers, and sometimes even the trail of a fox. It’s like a glimpse into a world that usually stays hidden. I’m thinking of adding a wildlife camera 🙂

The birds were out, too, chirping and fluttering between the branches, soaking up the warmth just like I was. There’s something so peaceful about watching them enjoy the sunshine, their feathers puffed up against the cold.
Days like this remind me why I love living in the countryside.

We need sunshine! I don’t mind the cold, but too many dreary days in a row are depressing.

I agree! We had too many months in a row!

A lovely place to walk.

Thank you! This is part of our 7 hectares of land next to the house. I’m thinking about mowing the grass along the border to create a walking path. 🙂 But since I only have a push mower—not a tractor—I’m not sure I’m ready for that much uphill pushing!
