A Cozy Birthday Celebration at the Local Pub

Yesterday was my birthday, and instead of making a big fuss, we kept it simple—a quiet evening at the local pub, good food, and a few virgin cocktails. And honestly, it was just what I needed.

The pub had that familiar, warm atmosphere—dim lighting, soft chatter, the clinking of glasses. We settled into a cozy corner and took our time browsing the menu. I didn’t feel like overthinking, so I went with something comforting – Cesar salad and Creme Brule. The food was delicious, exactly the kind that fills you up and makes you feel at home.

Then came the drinks. I stuck to virgin Mojito —because why not enjoy something fun and fancy without the alcohol?

It wasn’t a grand celebration – just 5 of us, but it was perfect in its own way. Just a quiet evening, good company, and the simple joy of being present in the moment. Another year older, another year of figuring things out—one day at a time.
