Oh, my! With all the illness and renovation chaos, I didn’t even realize the snowdrops were out—until I looked outside today. And guess what? They’re almost gone already! It seems like they popped up, showed their lovely faces, and are already fading away. Love snowdrops! And they are the only spring flower we have (for now). Probably planted 100 years ago.
It’s a reminder that spring is definitely here. It also reminds me of planting autumn bulbs (snowdrops, tulips, narcissus, etc.) to the list of things I want to do this year!
Between the renovations and everything else, I almost missed it, but now I’m soaking in this small, beautiful sign that the seasons are shifting. Here’s to spring sneaking in quietly but surely!

Mimi, I completely agree with you! In Latvia, with our cold weather, having something blooming in the garden in spring time is such a joy. I’m hoping to create a garden filled with flowers that can thrive in our harsh climate and bring more color and life during the spring months. It’s so exciting to look for plants that might survive – tulips, snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils… not sure I know more 🙂

Haha, you’re right! The snowdrops are so quick to appear and fade away. They always manage to surprise me too. I love how they sneak in and remind us that spring is on its way! 🌸
