Chop, Chop – Short Hair Again!

It had been three years since my last visit to the hair salon, and my hair showed it—long, lifeless, and in desperate need of a change. So, on Friday, all of us girls went for a haircut.

I’m pretty low-maintenance when it comes to hair (actually everything!) —no products, no styling, just a simple cut when I finally remember to go. I always dream of long, healthy, slightly curly hair, but the reality? Washing, drying, and styling every two days is just too much work! Terrible! Not for me! Naturally, my hair isn’t that good-looking. See for yourself – it’s a mess! So, as usual, I went short. Easy, practical, and no regrets. Let’s see how long it takes before I forget to visit the salon again!

Girls weren’t ready to go short, except Helmī, she begged for short hair.

Do you prefer long or short hair?

        1. Derrick, my hair was always tangled, but it did make brushing difficult. I used to brush it several times a day and pin it up often. A lot of the ends were split and it was pretty dry, not as silky and smooth as I’d like. I do hope to grow long, healthy hair one day, but for now, I hope this won’t affect our blog friendship! 😄

  1. That looks really cute, Ilze. Cool and carefree for summer. Like you, I’m not good about going to the salon. I like mine on the short side. Back in the day (Big Hair Era) I wore it long and, well, BIG, but nowadays I keep it simple. Who has time?

    1. I totally agree! I washed, brushed, and let them air dry, then had to brush again… and after just 5 minutes, they were tangled again! No more long hair for me—short hair for the win!
