Sunday was a slow, calm day—exactly what was needed. We finally tackled the living room windows, which had been in a terrible state. Paint splatters, renovation dust, and who knows what else had built up, making them almost impossible to see through. Scrubbing them was no easy task, but Jānis took on the challenge. Out of our six huge windows, two are now sparkling clean. It’s a start! The rest will have to wait, but at least progress has been made.

Meanwhile, I managed to add an extra raised bed in the greenhouse—perfect for salad now and paprika later in the season. The garden is slowly coming together! Next up, I need to prick out the tomatoes I sowed in that metal tin. Remember that: A Tomato Surprise: The Ones I Almost Threw Away…? It’s exciting to see them growing. Tomorrow I’ll go to home depo and buy more pots for tomatos.
And my inside cucumbers are blooming! A little touch of green inside while waiting for the outdoor garden to wake up fully.

It was! Those windows needed a good cleaning, and Jānis did a fantastic job. 😊 Do you enjoy tackling big cleaning tasks, or do you prefer smaller, quick wins?

A bucket of water and a squeegee is all I ever use.
