a day in the life of a latvian mom

March flew by in a blur, and while I never set official goals for the month, plenty still happened! Looking back, I realize that even without a plan, we made solid progress in different areas—home, garden, and personal life. So, let’s go through what we actually got done in March!

House & Renovation

• We finished the living room! We did it! OK, OK – only small things left, BUT it’s FINISHED!

Gardening & Outdoor Work

• Seedlings Indoors – March marked the start of seed planting inside! Tomatoes, paprika, leeks, and more—little green sprouts started appearing, getting ready for the growing season.
• Greenhouse & Raised Bed Planning – More thoughts went into how to structure the garden, maximizing space, and making sure everything was ready for April’s planting.

Family & Everyday Life

• Keeping Up with the Chaos – March was a mix of work, home life, and just trying to balance everything. Some days were better than others, but we made it through!
• Small Moments Matter – No grand adventures (exapt Linnas birthday) , but lots of small, cozy moments that made the month special—family meals, weekend relaxation, and just being together.
• Capture a picture of Raven stealing food 🙂
• I got a new hair style. Last time I did it 3 years ago.

Looking Ahead

March may not have had official goals, but we still achieved plenty. Now, with spring in full swing, April is looking like an exciting month. Time to get outside, plant more, and (hopefully) see real progress on the house!
