With winter just around the corner, we decided it was the perfect time to plant our tulip and daffodil bulbs. 🌷🌼 Instead of planting them outdoors, we opted to keep the pots inside the greenhouse for the winter. It’s a bit of an experiment—we’re curious to see if the extra protection will give them a head start when spring comes.

The bulbs are tucked in nice and cozy for now, and I can’t wait to see how they turn out! I’m hoping that by giving them a sheltered spot, they’ll bloom beautifully when the warmer weather arrives. Fingers crossed! 🤞
Have you ever tried keeping bulbs in a greenhouse over winter? I’d love to hear your thoughts or tips if you’ve done this before. We’ll keep you posted on how it goes!

Jackie does that with some of ours
I hope they will survive our harsh winter. Some say only in the ground… but I hope also in pots :).
We have much milder winters; you may have noticed that she also plants such as violas and pansies in pots, labelling the bulbs planted beneath.
Yes, I notice, but I’m far from gardening 🙂 I hope I can start it slowly next spring 😉
I can’t grow anything but my mother could grow anything!
You can’t cause you haven’t tried 🙂
I did try to grow some plants long ago, it was a bust… 😂
