This puzzle was adorable—definitely photoshopped, but still so charming! I never thought I’d be interested in visiting Paris, but if I could find a spot as cute as this, it might just be worth it!

I loved Paris and I don’t speak French.

Have you ever been in Paris? Europe?

Paris, Madrid, England, Spain, Australia, Russia, Mexico, and many islands. In my 30’s I traveled all the time.

Wow, you’ve been to so many amazing places! It must have been an incredible experience traveling so much in your 30s. Do you have a favorite destination, or is it hard to pick just one?

Well, I would have to say St. Petersburg, Russia.I traveled alone, did not know the language but stayed at a 5 star hotel and they took such good care of me. The concierge booked everything, at night if I were going outside of the hotel to eat, the manager would call the owner to let them know I was coming and to look out for me. I went to the Hermitage Museum, saw a ballet, a few other museums and just walked around. This was just 2 weeks after 9/11 so people were really helpful to me. Women don’t usually travel alone. People of all races were coming up to me to say how bad they felt for America. It was a special time. Very cold!

It was very special. I’ve heard that the city has changed and going back would look very different.

Right? Have you ever been to Europe?

No, and I don’t plan on visiting as it’s just too far away from home, Ilze. I haven’t been out of the US for many years. The only place across the Atlantic Ocean I want to go is the UK. For me, it would be like going home in some sense. My genes are a bit Irish!

Irish! Then no UK but Ireland 🙂 I lived in Ireland – Dublin for 6 months – and loved it! 🙂
