This morning, Nelle made me a coffee with whipped cream—just because. It’s one of those little moments that make me realize how fast she’s growing up.

She’s drinking decaf coffee, chatting with friends, playing online games, and juggling a few books at once. But when it comes to snow, she’s still the first one out, laughing and making the most of it. No matter how grown-up she seems, the joy of winter still brings out the child in her.
I love seeing this mix of maturity and playfulness—it’s a reminder to enjoy both the small moments and the big changes. 💙

Do I need a dollop of whipped cream? No, but it was so lovely that I took it with a big smile 🙂

Aw, your daughter is so sweet and kind! A dollop sounds delish! My babies are in their 30s now, cherish these days and take lots of photos and video, Ilze. ❤️🙏🏻

They don’t want to be in pictures or videos 😀

Oh no! This calls for you to be very stealthy, Ilze. Some people are like that like my mother was.

Some? I’m guessing all the Latvians are like that. At least in our family. 🙂 Me included.
