A few days ago we went to the hairdresser’s! With the weather still teasing us between spring and summer, it felt like the perfect time for a little refresh. So off we went: Nelle, Linna, and me, each with our own little mission.
I went first. Nothing dramatic here, I needed a bit of cleanup. My hairstyle was starting to feel like a vague memory of what it once was, so a little shaping and refreshing went a long way. Funny how even a small change can make you feel a bit more put together.

Then it was Nelles turn. Her hair had grown quite a bit over the last months, and while she wasn’t in the mood for anything drastic, those dry ends had to go. A quick trim, just enough to keep the shape neat and healthy. She looked in the mirror afterward and gave that shy but satisfied smile—mission accomplished.
But the real star of the day? Linna.

She made a bold and beautiful choice—a section of her hair is now a vibrant, electric purple! And it suits her so well. She had been thinking about it for a while, and seeing her confidence as she showed it off afterward made me so proud. It’s playful, creative, and unapologetically her. The kind of change that sparks joy.
So we left the salon with three very different updates: a tidy trim, a refreshed style, and a burst of bold color. It was more than just a beauty appointment (and chocolate) —it was a little moment of self-expression for each of us. And honestly, those moments feel more and more valuable these days.
Until next time,
Ilze

😊 Thank you, Peggy! I love purple too. She’s not a fan of pink, so purple and black have become her go-to colors for clothes — it suits her personality perfectly!
Are you a big fan of purple also in clothes?
