What a night! The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 has wrapped up, and I’m still buzzing from all the glitter, drama, and powerful performances. Latvia made it to 12th place this year—and honestly, I think that’s something to be proud of.
Latvia’s Eurovision journey hasn’t exactly been filled with trophies—25 years in the contest and just one win to our name. Still, we keep showing up with heart and hope. 🙂

It was good to see Latvia on the ‘left of the table’! It was certainly an original song and am glad it did well. I really dislike the one that won – that ‘mock opera’ style is not for me! Of course we supported Sweden, who certainly had the most catchy one. I liked France and Netherlands.

I totally agree with you — the Swedish sauna performance was super catchy! I actually thought Estonia might win; their song was catchy too and seems to be trending on social media… but hey, that’s Eurovision for you — always full of surprises!
Which performance surprised you the most this year?

Germany was better than usual I thought this year – quite a catchy song. As for Finland – !!!

Germany is played at our house, the girls liked it… along with sauna 🙂 and Estonian coffee song.

I watched the Eurovision, first time in a long time. Really liked the Latvian song, great harmonies.

That’s awesome — it was a strong year to come back to watching! I loved the Latvian song too, those harmonies gave me goosebumps. It felt really heartfelt and different from the usual flashy entries.
