After months of juggling work, renovation dust, and family life, tomorrow marks the official start of my vacation! No meetings, no emails—just time to breathe, stretch, and maybe even finish a cup of tea while it’s still warm. 🫖✨

Yes, I’ve had time off before… but it usually meant hard labor—renovating, cooking, fixing something. And while I can do all that (and even love the results), it’s not exactly what my heart longs for. I enjoy the process… but not the grind.
This time, I’m dreaming of soft starts, cozy pauses, and space to just be.
Let the slow mornings and unhurried days begin.

Dear Ilze, there are no relaxing plans in the pipeline; they’re on hold as my wife awaits major heart surgery. So, we take a day at a time for now! 🤗😊

I’m so sorry to hear about your wife’s upcoming surgery. I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible and that her recovery is gentle and swift. Taking it one day at a time sounds wise. Sending you both strength and warm thoughts. 🤗

Its winter here. We have two low pressure area in the Philippine area of responsibility; thus, it means it will be rainy days.
But, thank God, we’re safe. Enjoy your summer, Ilze. Yeah, a pause made us relax and recharge.

I’m glad to hear you’re safe — rainy days can be both calming and a bit tiring, especially when they linger. I hope the weather stays gentle for you. Thank you, I’ll do my best to enjoy the summer here — and yes, a good pause really does help us recharge. 🙂

Haha, thanks, Derrick! Sending a warm tea in spirit — and enjoy that coffee, even if it’s chilled! ☕️ Are you more of a coffee or tea person usually? I think Yorkshire loose tea with milk (stereotypes…) 🙂

Sounds lovely! We had a cooler summer 🙂 The whole summer was one big cool, gray cloud 🙂 A few weeks ago, it was around 24°C, and now it’s back to being cloudy. Never experienced such summer!
