a day in the life of a latvian mom

Day 24 was all about pillows! The sofa set came with five, but it’s designed for six—3+2+1—and that missing pillow was bothering me. So, I decided to make a new one. Luckily, I have a serger, which made the job so much easier. Since it’s an inside pillow, I left the seams on the outside—no one will see them anyway! I used two new “donor” pillows for this.

Now my living room is a mess of pillows. I’m wrapping each pillow in different fabrics to see which combination works best. I’m still waiting for the burgundy fabric to arrive, so I can’t yet decide whether the old pink (matching the curtains) should stay or if burgundy will take its place. I really hope the fabric arrives soon so I can finally complete the sofa setup!
