Stealing a Few Minutes

Lately, I’ve been eating peas every time I walk outside.

It’s become my little summer ritual. I’ll step away from my computer for a few minutes, wander into the garden, and pick a handful of fresh peas straight from the vines. They’re sweet, crisp, and somehow taste even better because they come with a short break from work.

We’ve had plenty of rain, and the sky seems to change its mind every few minutes. But every now and then, the clouds part just enough for the sun to shine through. Those brief moments are enough to make me stop what I’m doing and simply enjoy being outside.

For few minutes every day it’s just me, the fresh air, a handful of peas, and a reminder that even a busy workday has room for small moments of joy.

Sometimes, that’s all I need before heading back to my desk.

P.S. I need to get a proper office desk…
