1 000 likes on my Latvian mom’s blog. That is something I’m grateful for. I wanna thank you all – my readers! Thank you for reading and for liking. For commenting and for good thought sending. Thank you!

I’m still in bed with wet cough drinking herbal tea and eating berries. It’s pity I can’t get out for “spring in Latvia” pictures to share with you. It’s slowly coming!

  1. Congratulations on reaching 1000 likes! Hope you are feeling better soon. Looking forward to your Spring in Latvia photos. Keep doing what you are doing!

    1. Thank you. I loaded my freezer with the berried last summer/autumn. So, I’m grateful I did! Now I have blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, cranberries, cherries (I pitted them first – it took few hours!) and most delicious – wild strawberries! The aroma and sweet taste aren’t gone even after been frozen for more than 6 months!!

      1. I’m amazed that you still have some left. My wife made a lot of tomato purée and we used that for sauces for a long time. I was sad to see the last of it used up.

        1. The same here but with green peas! I think I bought 6 kilos green peas in pods… Shelled them all, blanched and froze for winter. Sill… it wasn’t enough! All gone before Christmas! I have a separate big freezer for summer goodies!

          1. We keep a separate freezer also. In summer we stock vegetables and such and in winter we make up big batches of soups and stews and freeze some for future meals. It’s great. 😃

    1. Thank you! I’m feeling a bit better, but that’s normal if using homemade natural remedies. You can’t get better over night! It’s not natural. Your body have to fight the fight and that certainly takes time. 🙂 I’m happy it’s getting better with girls. For me – My immune system isn’t working as well as girls’. But I’ll be fine! I’m sure!
