a day in the life of a latvian mom

We are still in Salacgriva. Parked near my brother’s summer house. Janis left us (girls and caravan) here and go to Riga for usual “work from office” day. He is working from home but few days in a month he drives to the Riga to work in the office.

We were just girls at home and decide to had a walk. It wasn’t like we walked few kilometers. I know my mom was coming to us, so the plan was to go to meet her.  I was surprised how easy it was to walk with them.

And the smile on faces when they saw the grandma was indescribable. I didn’t tell them that we will meet grandma. And grandma come with a bowl full of our favorite dessert debessmannā (Latvian dessert made from semolina and juice – mouse).Girls only!
