312 Days Later – And Still Blogging

Yesterday, I broke my blogging streak.

I had this goal in mind—360 days of daily blogging. I was so close. But life, as it does, had other plans. I simply forgot. I remembered to share the post… but I hadn’t written one yet. Something unexpected came up at work, and the day slipped through my fingers.

And just like that—no post.

At first, I felt disappointed. But then I looked back and realized something important: I made it to 312 days. That’s my highest streak ever. And that’s not nothing. That’s showing up for myself, again and again, even on the hard days.

I still remember when I decided to start blogging again. I was sitting in our caravan, parked in the yard during one of our many house renovation chapters. Surrounded by tools and dust and noise, I felt a quiet spark—I want to blog again. I had so much I wanted to share. So much to say about this messy, beautiful life we’re living.

And I did it. For 312 days.

Thank you all for being here with me, reading along, and cheering me on. Whether it’s been one post or many, your presence matters. I’m not stopping. The streak may have ended, but the story hasn’t.

Here’s to showing up—even imperfectly. 💛

    1. Aw, thank you, John! That honestly makes my day. ☀️ Is there a post or topic you’ve especially enjoyed? I’m always curious what speaks to different readers.

        1. I’m not sure ‘redo’ is the right word… It feels more like we’re building it from scratch! 😄 I’ve been calling it a renovation — but is it, though?
