On the weekend, I had a lovely walk with my mom in Pärnu, Estonia. It felt like such a treat to step away from daily routines and just wander together. The city has this calm charm—wide streets, a gentle seaside air, and a pace that invites you to slow down.

We didn’t rush anywhere. We simply walked on the seashore, looked around, and enjoyed the time side by side. Sometimes it’s not about seeing something new or grand, but about being present and sharing those small moments.

I was thinking about fellow blogger Eha—how she once lived in Estonia and now, if I’m correct, is in Australia.

Spending time with my family in Pärnu was wonderful—fresh air, tired legs, warm hearts. But walking there also made me think about how fragile peace can be. For a small country like ours (and Estonia, Lithuania), true peace will only come when the aggressor next door is pushed back and forced to stop… Will it ever happen?

If you are referring to Putin, he’s a madman. Be safe! Lovely photos, ilze.

I refer to Putin, but might as well to all the presidents, that isn’t supporting Ukraine 🙂
