Finally, the snow is here.
I don’t know if it will stay for a while or melt away as quickly as it arrived, but for now — it’s here. And I love it.
The world feels quieter under snow. Softer. The yard, the house, the road — all of it suddenly feels a little more gentle, a little more tidy.
Today is about standing still for a moment, looking out the window, and letting myself enjoy this small gift of winter. And the beautiful sunset 🙂

You are welcome Illze, and I still haven’t gone on the hike – I forgot that this is the week between Christmas and New Years so the place was jammed full of people. I don’t like crowds so I’ll wait until after NYD.
