A pause till Monday

I’m not feeling well, as I wrote yesterday:

Today I took sick leave till Monday. It feels a little strange to press the pause button after three weeks of vacation… I know this is what my body has been asking for. For now the plan is simple – rest, warm cups of tea, and quiet hours at home. It’s not COVID-19 and it’s not the flu, just one of those nameless setbacks that reminds me I’m not made of iron.

I’ll see how I feel as the days pass. No big promises, only small steps: more sleep, slower breathing, maybe a short walk if my strength returns. Health first; everything else can wait for a moment.

Who knew I would start the year like this. I had imagined a different rhythm for January, but perhaps this unexpected stillness is part of the story too.

P.S. The images are from 2017. The snow is here, but can’t wait for the sun 🙂
