Finally, I stepped out to see what’s blooming around our house. We don’t have flower beds (ok, one small with daffodils) so all the beauty is from wildflowers.
Like these ones…
… I called my mom to ask the name. I know there are such flowers white and yellow (we had them in my grandma’s orchard) but I never knew the name. Mom knew both “old name” and the “new one” – baltais vizbulis (old name), anemone (new name). Flowers name: Wood Anemone (Anemone nemorosa).
I googled and found that this flower is growing only in Europe. Is it true my dear followers around the world? Have you ever seen this flower?

Yes, we have wood anemones here in Canada and the United States. I’ll see if I can find one and take a picture.

I think we have these around here too. They are beautiful!

I like them but they aren’t for vase. They die soon after cutting.

Not here. It may not like the heat here. 🙂

I *think* we have them here in the U.S. I’ve heard the name before, but I’m not much of an herbalist. Right now, all I see around my yard are violets.

Violets! I love violets but unfortunately don’t have them around my house.
