This weekend was extra special as we had Linna’s friend over! They’ve been best friends since kindergarten. Things changed a bit when Linna chose German as her third language and her friend opted for Russian. They are not in the same classes anymore. Despite the shift, their bond remains strong, and I hope it continues to flourish.

On Saturday, it was heartwarming to watch the girls chat and laugh about everything under the sun. Their excitement filled our home with such lively energy, reminding me of the importance of friendship through all of life’s changes.
After our lovely time together, we decided to take a walk outside, and I must say, the view of Latvia right now is absolutely spectacular. The golden autumn hues paint the landscape in breathtaking shades. Helmī took a lot of stunning pictures, which I can’t wait to share in another post! Actually, I’m surprised, she is 9…
Stay tuned for those autumn photos!

No, it’s not! I won’t buy an iPhone for kids, there are other much cheaper phones outside 🙂 I want them to be free and not worry about 2k worth of phone 🙂 Me.. that’s a different story 🙂

I understand, it’s not good that some parents buy any phone for very young children. Let them be children! I am glad that I grew up long before the internet and cell phones. Our phones were attached to the wall and had a curly cord that stretched to many rooms in the house!

YES! Phones to the walls! We had it on the shelf and no long cord, so we took a chair and sat in the room for hours until Mom came and ended this madness! Also, mine had a rotary thing to dial the number, not buttons 😀

Moms are meanies! Kidding. I remember the rotary dial and the sound it made. Swish tick tick tick! Dial the wrong digit and you have to start over…

And what a nightmare to wait for dial to get back in position after dialing 9 or 0 🙂
