Yesterday’s Zoom Meeting: When the Support Team Met Marley

Working from home has its perks – no commute, comfy clothes, and plenty of tea breaks. But it also means unpredictable guest appearances. Yesterday, I was in a Zoom meeting with my team, discussing our approach, when Marley, our furry family member, decided to make his debut.

Marley sat there for 10 minutes and then decided to block my camera with his curious little face. Moments like these are part of the charm of remote work – a little chaotic, but it keeps things interesting!

Wishing a Happy Halloween to Everyone Celebrating! 🎃

Enjoy the spooky season! 🙂

  1. I can only imagine all the noise and things I say making their way into his office while he’s in a meeting. I made the decision at the start, I was not going to change my life because he’s working at home. They hear the icemaker going off several times a day, me talking to the dogs, slipping a bad word out when I hurt myself. That does keep it interesting. Meanwhile, my office is upstairs so I only get the dogs coming up a couple of times a day. 🙂

    1. I don’t have to worry about that. We don’t have managers 🙂

We work together as a team, and we all are equivalent. The company is about 30 people and only owner. Flat structure 🙂

        1. Aww, that’s so lovely! With family, Marley is all cute and cuddly, but anyone else better watch out—he’s all boss mode! 😂 Did you ever have pets with that sweet-but-sassy double personality too?

          1. Yes, my mom had a Toy Poodle and we also had a Standard Poodle too. The Standard Poodle was my best buddy, so sweet. The Toy Poodle was a mean little turd… 😂

            1. The smaller the dog, the bigger the fear. They act out of fear, and also, the adrenalin affects them more… less mass 🙂

                1. You remembered the year! Come on! Are you good with dates?
I can’t remember years! I’m asking my mom… she remembers!
