Taking a Breather

I’ve been struggling lately, feeling like everything around me is too much. Work, home, life—it’s all felt overwhelming. So, I made the decision to take 4 days off from work and do nothing at home. I ignored the chores, let the laundry pile up, and let the dust settle.

Instead, I spent the time watching movies and simply relaxing. No pressure to get things done, no deadlines to meet—just pure, uninterrupted time to breathe and unwind.

It’s hard to admit when things feel too heavy. But sometimes, it’s necessary to give ourselves permission to rest. The world will keep turning, and everything can wait a little longer. We need these moments to reset, recharge, and come back stronger.

If you’re also feeling like everything’s a bit much, maybe this is your sign to take a step back and just be. 🌸

    1. Hi, Mary, thank you for such a nice comment. It feels like there is no time for healing. Kids need me, and life goes on. The summer brake is almost here and I’m afraid it will be hard working from home with kids at home 24/7

    1. Haha, the break happened thanks to all the “real life drama” 😅 I never stopped writing posts, just took a pause from commenting… but I’m finally back to that too!
Have you ever had one of those stretches where everything just piles up at once?
