What We Achieved in June

I just realised it’s the last day of June!!!!
June brought steady rain and moments of celebration — a month of quiet wins and the familiar chaos of real life. Here’s a look back at the goals I set at the start of the month and what we managed to accomplish.

But first June gallery!

How the June treated us…

🛠 Home
– We had planned to start work on the bathroom, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. The worker who usually helps us had to deal with some personal matters, so the project is on hold for now.
– Still looking for lights.

🌱 Garden
– We finished the raised beds! The soil is in, and I know it’s the middle of summer, but I think I’ll still sow some lettuce and dill… maybe even try cabbage. 🙂
– All the tomatoes are tied up, though they’re still not flowering.– I’ve started a nettle tea fertilizer experiment
— I soaked the nettles in water, and I think it’s ready now. Time to try it out on the tomatoes!

💻 Work
– Not sure I want to plan or reflect on work in the summer time….
– Not sure I’m using my “one day off” to actually unplug…

🧠 Mind & Body
– Started my stretches in the mornings.

💛 Heart
– Didn’t do anything from what I was planned.

I guess next time I just need to set more realistic goals.

Apart from that, we had:

Marika over: When a Colleague Cycles 108km/67miles to Visit You
Nelle’s birthday celebration (technicly in May): Nelle’s 13th Birthday
Nelle’s Art’s school graduation: A Big Day for Nelle 🎨
Līgo celebration: Līgo – The Night When Latvia Glows and Jāņi: Our Līgo and Jāņi – Bonfire, Tradition, and Trout!
Ilonas birhtday in Salacgriva: Ilona’s 80s Party!

And I think I won’t set goals for July…. It’s summer.

            1. I don’t like bikinis…. I think I don’t like sand either 🙂 and also, I don’t like SPA with people around… I took today off… Will see, just relax and enjoy what I have 🙂

                    1. Almost exactly 2000 miles! It’s 3.5 hour flight directly from Vegas to Detroit where my sister or daughter pick me up. It’s a huge country, Ilze.
