After thoroughly stuffing ourselves with delicious homemade Italian pizzas, we decided that a little walk was exactly what we needed.
Right next to the pizzeria is a wonderful park—although “park” doesn’t quite feel like the right word. It is more like a peaceful patch of forest, where nature and creativity blend together beautifully. As we wandered along the paths, we came across all kinds of interesting sculptures and artistic installations tucked between the trees. It made the walk feel like a little treasure hunt, with something new to discover around every corner.
The area also has a disc golf course thoughtfully integrated into the landscape. Even though we didn’t play a round, it was fun watching the baskets appear among the trees and seeing how naturally the course fits into the forest.
Also, there is a nice picnic spot – created from old tile peaces and pottery. Loved it!
My favourite part, though, was the barefoot sensory path. I absolutely loved it! The path is divided into sections filled with different natural materials and textures—from smooth stones and soft sand to wood, bark, and other surfaces that all feel completely different under your feet. Some felt like LEGO! Walking across each section was such a fun experience, and it made me slow down and really pay attention to every step.
It was the perfect way to end our meal: good food, fresh air, a bit of art, and a simple activity that made us all smile. Sometimes it’s these little unexpected places that become the highlight of the day.

Italy really does know how to do post-meal contentment.
