Yesterday, we did another 6 hour trip to Riga for my dentist appointment. These visits feel routine, but I can’t say I’ve gotten used to them. The early drive, my anxiety, the stress, and the uncertainty—it all adds up.

This time, they filled the canals and sealed them with a temporary filling. Next time—the last time—I’ll finally get my final filling!
After the appointment, I treated myself to a coffee and Hesburger Tortilla before heading home. One more visit to go, and I can finally put these teeth behind me! BUT, there will be another set of visits in April.

Hope you are soon “back to normal”. Don’t know about putting those teeth behind you – might be a little uncomfortable, biting yourself in the butt! Still, we know what you mean – though I can’t get the image out of my head right now!

Haha, that mental image got me laughing! 😆 Definitely not planning to bite myself in the butt anytime soon! But yes, I’m hoping to put the whole tooth saga behind me and get back to normal soon. Thanks for the well wishes! 😊

Ticks and skeeters, yuck! I despise them. Keep covered up from them both, Ilze.

I had to google “skeeters” 😀

Nasty blood-sucking bugs. 😂 Nobody in Las Vegas has ever called a skeeter a skeeter since I’ve lived here since 2013. Smack!

Yes, one more time… sounds good! Before all this, I had no fear of the dentist—I was fine with it. But now… not so sure! 😅

wow, that’s quite a distance and long time to think about it on the way, but you’re almost there!
