Spring is finally here! I think I said this already a few times. I had a walk that was so warm, and it felt like the season was truly ready to melt us all. After weeks of cold and dreariness, the sun has finally come out to play, and there’s that special warmth in the air that makes everything feel a little lighter. The earth seems to be waking up, and so am I.

I couldn’t help but smile as I felt the first signs of spring all around me—the gentle breeze, the smell of fresh earth, and the soft warmth on my face and Sarcoscypha austriaca. It’s like nature is slowly stretching after a long nap, ready to bloom and shine.

Beautiful photos, Ilze, especially those mushroom-like things with the red color inside—I’ve never seen anything like that, stunning! Have a great Sunday.
Thank you! Those are edible mushrooms, imagine? 🙂 I would never eat mushroom, that is so bright 🙂
Well, I admit it’s special, but if it’s really edible, then I think I would dare to try it — very carefully, though 🙂
I would try if a person comes and eats it. Just because internet search says it’s safe, I don’t trust 🙂
Wize thinking !
Now I think I might have one…
More lovely photographs

Thank you, Mimi! It’s starting to warm up and grass is beginning to grow… a bit green is showing 🙂

It’s like nature is slowly stretching after a long nap, ready to bloom and shine. I love that!
I completely agree with you! Spring is such a mix of cold and warm days—we’ve had our share of the cold, and now I’m hoping for some warmth!
