The storks are back.

I noticed them a week ago. They always return quietly, and at the beginning it looks lonely.
For me it’s a small shift. A sign.

In Latvia, their arrival means something deeper than just birds coming home. It feels like the land is waking up again. Spring is here for sure! Sunny days are getting longer and warmer.
There’s something comforting about their rhythm. They leave, and they come back. Every year. No matter what.
And maybe that’s why I like them so much — they remind me that not everything is uncertain. Some things just know their way home.

P.S. I bet storks bring babies in your country too 🙂

Hey Ilze, beautiful photos of some stunning birds. We have them here too, but in my area I’ve only ever seen one once in my entire life, so I’m a little bit jealous 🙂 Have a great day !

Lovely photos, Ilze. I have never seen a stork, but we must have them because they do bring babies. They brought me one, lol.

🙂 I see them around a lot, and scare them away, if they are on roof top 🙂 I don’t need more babies! 😀

Yes, airliners travel great distances! It’s so amazing isn’t it? Our Monarch Butterflies fly from here in North America way down to South American countries. Amazing!

Yes! Nature is beautiful 🙂 That is why I like to live in countryside. At least while we can! It is not “normal” anymore to work from home, so all the companies try to get the “workers” back in offices. If that will happen with our jobs, we have to quit, cause not ready to move houses 🙂 This is permanent 🙂

Wow, it seems you and your employer will eventually have a showdown which is unfortunate. I hope it doesn’t come to that, Ilze.

Ah, it will be ok! Our company don’t have office, so they need to buy/rent one first 🙂 All employees are from home 🙂

Oh, that’s so good! Working from home should have been a thing long before it came to be. So many advantage for the employee.
