Some evenings are simply magical, and this was definitely one of them.
The Latvian band YŪT performed in the beautiful surroundings of Jaungulbene Manor, and I can’t think of a better setting for their music. There is something special about listening to live music surrounded by history.
Jaungulbene Manor, located in the Vidzeme region of Latvia, was completed in 1878 and built in the Tudor Neo-Gothic style. It has an impressive, castle-like appearance with beautiful architectural details that make it stand out from many other Latvian manors. After the Latvian Land Reform of 1920, the estate was nationalized, and today it continues to be a place where history and culture come together.

We weren’ t planning on this, I just saw they are near on their Spotify. You can find them on Spotify and see if their music speaks to you as much as it does to me. It’s in latvian 🙂
My personal favourite song is “Tuvu.” It has a beautiful atmosphere, and hearing it performed live made me love it even more. I was there for the music… youngest for pictures 🙂

A beautiful historic place, YŪT, and a warm summer evening to create memories that stay with you long after the last note has faded.

Sounds like a fun event. Beautiful setting.
Thank you, it was nice, relaxing summer evening.
Love the photos of the place (many such in Estonia also!)and the gorgeous one of you three . . . perchance we somewhat enjoy different kinds of music . . .- maybe this would not quite be ‘my cup of tea’ 🙂 ?
That is fine. Young artists that try to get to the big stages 🙂 Latvians. And I like the easy summer vibe in their songs 🙂
