Linna’s kitchen: Tuna salad

OK. This is getting serious! Linna (only 3 years old) are willing to help in the kitchen! No just small jobs like adding water to a pot or just mixing salad… but bigger once like – making a salad! MAKING!

Our favorite one is tuna salad (in winter)! We eat it on the toast and with avocado (if lucky to find one in Gulbene’s shops) or wrap in a tortilla with other goodies! What I did… was… boiled eggs and cool them down.. and cut leek. All other was Linna’s Jobs!

Here is the recipe:

Tuna salad

  • Servings: 4
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna (oil, brine or springwater)
  • 2 eggs hard boiled
  • half of a small cucumber
  • leek (to taste)
  • Mayonaise
  • 1/4 of bell pepper (optional)
  • salt (optional)

Directions

  1. Cut the leek, cucumber, and eggs.
  2. Mix with tuna and mayonnaise. Enjoy on bread or in a wrap.

    1. 🙂 interesting if she ever think about that… I guess not cause everything is so high up and she needs chair to get there :). If it would be so in my kitchen – I’ll be angry 🙂
