Today is the last day of May and the first day of summer!
We started this day with butter coffee and walk to the manor to open the greenhouse. It was hot in there – like a sauna! I really enjoy the morning walk with girls (I ask if they want to come and if not, they stay at home with dad). This morning Nelle and Linna came :).

To celebrate the beginning of summer I baked the rhubarb custard pie. You can find the recipe here.
Lilac is in bloom! I love lilac! And I will plant a lot in the manor, but can do that only after the digging around the house – water, electricity, drainage is done! Maybe next year!

Yes, that is the first one, then another one up and then loooooong down and then up again… Manor is on top and the place we are now on bottom 🙂 But remember we don’t have hills in latvia, they are just bumps, but still – nice to live on top of one 🙂
