Vegetable Tagine

As you know I got my Tagine (I wanted for 3 years!) as a gift. A traditional Moroccan vegetable dish is cooked in Tagine but I wasn’t aiming for Moroccan style I wanted Tagine for slow cooking. With means: less liquid is needed overall and food cooks slowly until completely tender. And you also know that  I said goodbye to my tagine.

But I will share simple and delicious tagine recipe from our kitchen. I start this after a breakfast and it’s ready for lunch.
Make it with your favorite vegetables!

One-pot wonder that is easy to make. Delicious!

  • 3 carrots
  • 1/2 cauliflower
  • 1/2 small zucchini
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 200 ml vegetable broth (I used Marigold)
  • – 100 ml cream

  1. Put a tagine on low heat and start heating it up slowly. Pour in warm vegetable broth. Put the lid on.
  2. Cut all vegetables into large pieces and add to the tagine. Cover and cook (still on low) for 1 1/2 hour or until vegetables are almost cooked.
  3. Add cream and cook for 20 more minutes. Enjoy.
